August 3, 1967 – March 7, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Dion Cornelius on March 7, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on August 3, 1967, Brian was a cherished son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. His presence in the lives of those who loved him will be forever missed. Brian is survived by his loving family: Siblings: Christopher Cornelius, David Cornelius and Annastasia Cornelius, nieces & nephews: Ashley Powers, Lauren Sciortino, Andreu Cornelius, Connor Armstrong, Christopher Cornelius Jr. and Zyaire Cornelius. He is also survived by his Sister-In-Laws; Trina Cornelius and Kelsey Cornelius. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Cornelius and Patricia Cornelius, as well as his brother, Ford Cornelius.

A passionate cook, Brian had a deep love for preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends. He also had a lifelong appreciation for science fiction and the history of the Civil War, often spending hours immersed in those interests. Brian will always be remembered as the best brother and uncle anyone could ask for... a man whose enormous warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. When you saw Brian, he was ready to give you a big hug and make all your worries disappear.

A memorial service will be held at Eternity Funeral Home, 4856 Oakdale Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207, on March 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Brian’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire love, laughter, and joy in those he leaves behind.
