Dr. Barbara Fowler Browning, 73, of [Fernandina Beach, Florida], passed away on May 2, 2025 in

[Fernandina Beach].

Celebration of Life will be held at 1980 Rachael Ave, Fernandina on July 26 at 1:00 pm

Barbara was born in Jackson,Michigan to Bruce and Jane Fowler on May 14,1951. She went to high

school at Jackson High School and graduated 1969. She went on to earn a Bachelor of science in

Chemistry at Purdue University. She then attended Michigan State University where she earned he

Masters Degree in Chemisty. She then Moved to Iowa and attended the University of Osteopathic

Health and Science in Desmoine, where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.. She started

her career as a medical technologist in Michigan, then once she became a Doctor moved to Fernandina

Beach , where she practiced as an Emergency Room Physcian for 17 years. She then opened her own

Family practice for a shot period of time before she became ill and had to retire.

Barb loved coming up and spending Summers at Clarklake with her family and friends. She enjoyed

Water Aerobics and Bridge.

Barbara is survived by her Husband Larry and her step daughter Julie. She is also survived by her Brother

Don Fowler and wife Jane and Sister Patti Faling, both from Clark Lake, Michigan. She is also survived by

her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Her Parents Bruce and Jane Fowler and Brother

Bruce Fowler.

Memorial donations may be made to Fernandia Humane Society.The family wishes to extend their

gratitude to Hospice whom cared for her during her Illness.
