Gary Vaughn Mixon
Gary was born on 02/14/1959 in Jacksonville, FL. He passed away peacefully on 07/10/2025 after a short battle with Lung Cancer and Heart Disease.He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Mixon Sr and his mother Edith Olene (Sweat) Mixon.
Gary proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 04/1980-05/1984. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and shooting pool. Gary was a very kind and considerate soul. He loved his family and sharing time with them, on the phone or in person.
He is survived by his sister, Cindy Mixon of Thomasville, GA, his brothers Charles "Chuck" Mixon (Zoe) of Callahan, FL , Keith Mixon (Sandi) of Jacksonville, Fl, many cousins, nieces, nephews & great nieces and nephews.
His service will be held at The Jacksonville National Cemetery on an upcoming date.Rest in Peace Mickey OORAH!
