William Carter Frith III Obituary

William Carter Frith III, or Spike to those who knew him, 54, of Jacksonville, FL passed away

on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at home with his beloved wife. He was born September 30th, 1970,

in Orange Park, FL to Julia and William “Bill” Frith. Spike was a graduate of the

University of Florida with his Bachelor of Science and a graduate of the University of North

Florida with his Master of Business Administration. He was a dedicated financial advisor but a

lifelong jokester. Spike enjoyed laughing, spending time with his family, and all the time he

could spare at the beach. He always cherished the memories he made at his late father’s South Ponte Vedra

beach house and all the moments he could share with its many visitors. Spike brightened the

lives of many, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces when he entered a room. Whether it was

strangers or lifelong friends, there was always a story he could tell.

Spike is survived by his devoted wife Leslie Frith, his son Carter Frith, his daughters Julia and

Morgan Frith, and his brothers Marc and Gary Frith. Spike was a loving husband, father, brother,

and friend to all. Spike was preceded in death by his nurturing parents William “Bill” and Julia

Frith.

A memorial mass will be held at Victory Lutheran Church, 4651 Kernan Blvd S, Jacksonville,

FL 32224 on October 11, 2025 at 11:00am, followed by a reception.

Spike’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be
