Kelly was born on November 30, 1984, to Susan Bryan and the late John Bryan. From the very
beginning, she was light, stubborn, and deeply loved. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister,
granddaughter, girlfriend, niece, aunt, cousin, and loyal friend.
Kelly grew up in Jacksonville and attended Arlington Country Day School. She spent some time
bartending before discovering her passion in construction sales. In true Kelly fashion, she threw
herself into it with everything she had. She was admired for her honesty, fierce work ethic, and
the way she could walk onto any job site and fit right in. To her, a construction site wasn’t just
work, it was excitement, purpose, and joy.
Family was the center of Kelly’s world. She will always be remembered for her acts of kindness,
her sweet spirit, and that beautiful smile that could brighten anyone’s worst day. Calling her
brother, sister-in-law five times a day just to tell them she loved them and was proud of them.
Her faith was quiet but steady, something she carried close to her heart.
Kelly loved the beach and treasured simple, happy moments—like taking her “raggedy sister
dog,” as Parker lovingly named her, to the dog park. She loved to cook, especially when she was
cooking for Kayden. And in true Kelly fashion, when she made up her mind, nothing in this
world could change her mind, stubbornness was one of the many things that made her uniquely
her.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Susan Bryan; her brother, Mike Bryan (Ani); and her son,
Kayden—her greatest joy, her baby. Kelly is also survived by her devoted boyfriend, Parker,
who brought laughter, comfort, and love into his darlings’ life; her cherished maternal
grandparents; and her nephews, Joe and Jaxen. Hearing Jaxen call her “Aunt Kelly” was enough
to make her whole face light up, along with many other family members in England where she
loved to visit.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Bryan; her aunt, Karen Magee; and her uncle,
Terry Bryan.
The family would like to thank everyone for the incredible outpouring of love and support. The
messages, stories, meals, and acts of kindness—too many to list—have lifted them up when they
needed it most.
From the day she was born, her daddy made up a rhyme just for her. Her mother said it to her for
the rest of her life. We share it now, with love:
Our Kelly Marie:
Kelly, Kelly Marie, the prettiest girl I ever did see,
in the whole wide world, in the seven seas—
that’s Kelly, our Kelly Marie.
She will always be our Kelly Marie.
