William Randolph Morgan Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida

William Randolph Morgan Jr., born March 26, 1954, was sent to his eternal home on January 19, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, The Reverend Doctor William R. Morgan Sr. and his wife Leah Claire; his grandparents, Willie Rogers and Velma May Bogg Morgan; James Edward and Minnie Hodges; his brother-in-law, Richard Allen Barker.

He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of twenty-nine beautiful years, Richelle LeDonne Morgan of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Carolyn Morgan Barker of Lafayette, Louisiana; his niece, Melissa Ann Morgan Barker of Lafayette, Louisiana; his nephew, Jonathan Edward Morgan Barker of Lafayette, Louisiana; Rachel, Dana, Daniel, Chris- all from Tennessee.

Randy was a devout Christian man, who worked tirelessly in St John’s Lutheran Church during the years of his father's pastorate. He served on the council where he spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. When his father retired, Randy joined Wesley Fellowship United Methodist Church, where he acted as treasurer for over twenty-five years. Randy loved serving the Lord.

Before moving to Florida, Randy’s formative years were spent in Houston, Texas. He loved Texas, but developed a deep love for Florida and all of its theme parks after he got there. Disney World was especially a great thrill for Randy.

Some of Randy’s cherished times were when he was with his family as well as his extended family. He loved all of his nieces and nephews and the time spent with them. One of Randy’s favorite activities to do with his family, when they came into town from Louisiana and Tennessee, was to play board games. He always made his family feel special.
