Obituary of Rachel June Blystone

Rachel June Blystone, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away on July 8, 2019, with her loved ones by her side. June was born in Mineral, Ohio to the late Frank and Estella Jenkins. June later moved to Jacksonville, Florida with her sister and brother-in-law. She soon met and later married the late Theodore Anderson Cannady (1978). Together Ted and June had 5 children: Andy (Kathy), Mark (Pam), Tommy (Annette), Wes (Robin), Connie and 5 stepchildren: Gloria (1992), Reba (2017), Elton, Marvin (Deena), Sarah (Wayne). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. After losing Ted in a battle with cancer; June moved to Ohio to be surrounded by loved ones. She then married the late Robert Allen Blystone (2016) and they were married for 38 years before his passing in 2016. Shortly after marrying they relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where the two built a beautiful life together. June was a woman of many talents one of which was in the kitchen. She loved to cook especially big meals for all of the children. She also loved to shop and go to garage sales. She enjoyed playing card games with her loved ones in her free time. Most of all June loved spending time with her family; and no amount of time was ever enough. June was so immensely proud of that family and felt that was her biggest accomplishment. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories and a laugh that was more than contagious. She will dearly be missed.
