Obituary of David Roberts Fulford Jr.

David Roberts Fulford, Jr., passed away on July 8, 2019 at 62 years old. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. His parents David R. Fulford, Sr., and Joyce Phillips Fulford predeceased him. David was a graduate of Episcopal High School and the University of Virginia. 

He was most recently employed by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He enjoyed playing tennis, Gator football, Virginia basketball, fishing, reading and spending time with his daughter and granddaughters. 

He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy (Tripp) Browning; two granddaughters, Tinsley and Palmer; his sisters Holly (Kenneth); Shelly (Mike) Wilson; his brother-in-law, Buster (Debbie) Browning; and many extended family and numerous friends. 

A memorial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 7500 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256.  Reception to follow, Glen Kernan Country Club, 4590 Glen Kernan Parkway E., Jacksonville, FL 32224. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens, 370 Zoo Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32218 (904-757-4463 ext. 116) or the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
