Obituary of Joan Apgar
Joan P. Apgar, 88 passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Woodland Grove Health & Rehab Facility in Jacksonville, FL with family by her side.
Joan was born to the late Samuel and Thelma Mitterling, March 24, 1931 in Easton, PA and moved to Dover, NJ where she graduated from Dover High School.
She worked and retired from Greystone Psychiatric Hospital for over 25 years as a medical transcriber. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren then moved to Jacksonville, FL.
Joan was predeceased by husband Clarence M. Apgar in 1992. Joan is survived by her daughter’s Kathy Apgar, Orange City, Fl; Cindy Apgar-Sheldon, Jacksonville, FL ; her son Mark Apgar, Phillipsburg, NJ, her grandson Mark Apgar and granddaughter’s Leigha Apgar and Alexandra Sheldon and resting in peace daughter Judy Apgar.
