I have had the pleasure of knowing Katana,since April 2007. And we have been together ever since. We had just bought a home (Jul 2018), and were planning on getting married in the spring of 2020.The entire time she has been in my life has been a blessing to me.
She won a battle with colon cancer in 2006.She had a couple of bouts of pre-cancer,which came out clean. She started having back pain over this past summer (June 2018 forward). She was told in late September or early Oct 2018 that she had multiple tumors on her spine.She was fighting this by going to treatment and taking her medications.But it seems,the cancer(s) were to far "gone" for her body to fight them off.Only good thing that I can say is that she went peacefully in her sleep while taking a nap on the couch at home.
