Angel Child you fell to earth, you forgot the pain of birth A warm dark place you've learned to live, but Angel Child you've got to give I know you still long for the sky but earth bound angels do not fly We walk, we run, we shed a tear and sometimes even angels fear If we stumblen if we fall, we get back on our feet, that is all Hearts though broken they do mend (my Angel Child you have a friend) A great spirit in the sky, and he cried too to say goodbye But now he's pushing you uphill but Angel Child you still have will so turn it over...let it go and someday soon your wings will grow
