Obituary of Hope Emma Cirelli
Please share a memory of Hope to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Hope Emma Cirelli (nee Haub) died peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on January 27 in Fernandina Beach, Florida at the age of 56.
Hope is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Jeff; her adored daughters, Rachel Roberson (Adam) and Leah Cirelli, and deeply loved stepsons, Anthony Cirelli and JJ Cirelli. As well as her father, John Haub, and her siblings, Janice Ryerson (James), John F. Haub, and Cynthia Haub. She is preceded in death by her mother, Fay Haub.
Hope was born on May 10, 1963 in Plymouth Meeting ,Pennsylvania to John and Fay Haub. She graduated from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School in 1981. After moving to Orlando, she met and married her husband and this is where they began raising their family. While her most important role was that of wife and mother, she also did administrative work and was a staunch advocate for those impacted by cancer and their families. As a multiple cancer survivor herself and member of a family profoundly touched by cancer, Hope helped raise money for research and eagerly reached out with empathy for others affected by this disease.
She and her family later spent 10 years in Greenville, South Carolina before returning back to Florida to live their beach life.
Her faith greatly impacted her life and those around her and sustained her until the day Jesus called her home.
Two services of remembrance are scheduled. The first for Saturday, February 1 at United Methodist Church at 1:30 pm. The second service is planned for Saturday February 8 at Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church in Plymouth Meeting, PA at 12:30 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Hope's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
