Obituary of Dusty Lee Flake

Dusty Lee Flake, 45 of Callahan Florida passed away on February 16, 2020 at Community Hospice and Palliative Care in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Dusty Lee Flake was born August 12, 1974 in Jacksonville Florida. He was the son of Larry Flake and Lynda Abston. Dusty was a roofer. Dusty loved basketball and the Florida Gators. Survivors include his wife Dale, and their children Shelby and Ben Flake of Yulee Florida. His father Larry Flake of Yulee Florida, his brothers Larry (Laura) Flake of Crossville, Tennessee, Eric (Heather) Friedmann of Yulee Florida, sisters Jerrie (Tony) Cobb of Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, Lynn Colter and Lynda Maiers both of Crossville, Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Lynda Abston, step dad Homer Abston, step mother Cleo Flake, brother Ben Smith, brother in law Bill Maiers and nephew Dale Cobb. Services are being held at Fernandina Family Worship Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 1pm.
