Sondra Lee Charles Weseman of Jacksonville, FL passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2020. Born
in Lockport, NY on July 21, 1946, she graduated from Lockport Senior High in1964.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Christine Swanson and is lovingly survived by her husband, Allan
Weseman of Jacksonville, FL; sons, David McCarthy (Pam) of Syracuse, NY, William McCarthy and Jon
Weseman (Christy) of Jacksonville, FL; 8 grandchildren, Stephanie Lloyd (Chris), Michelle Swanson
(Kris Knauss), Jason Glaser, Bekah Jordan (John Mark), and Garret, Tyler, Rachel, and Shannon
McCarthy; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Cheryl Palisano (Charles) of Lockport, NY and Mary Krick
(Ernie) of Mesa, AZ; a niece Elisa Krick and a nephew Charles Palisano (Sarah).
When she wasn’t volunteering at the thrift store at Glendale Community Church where she sang in the
choir and taught Sunday School for 15 years, she was spending time in her “craft room” where she
worked on perfecting the art of making wreaths and writing poems. She was a wonderful daughter,
sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor and friend.
Calling hours will be held at Eternity Funeral Home and Crematory, 4856 Oakdale Ave, Jacksonville, FL
32207, Thursday, March 5 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life memorial service held
