Obituary of Jovo Obradovic

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jovo Obradović; a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Jovo left us while sleeping peacefully at his residence in Jacksonville, Florida on June 9, 2020, at the age of 63. Jovo was born on March 28, 1957 in Gračac, Croatia to Mile and Dragica (Čubrilo) Obradović. He immigrated to the United States in 1998 and spent his remaining years working hard to provide the best possible life for his family. He was an avid collector, a passionate reader, and a jack of all trades who was always prepared to lend a helping hand. Most of all, he was proud of his family and instilled strong values that will continue to serve them well. Jovo was preceded in death by his father, Mile, and his brother, Žarko. He is survived by his wife Nada, three children (Mirjana, Jovana, and Rade), mother Dragica, brother Dane, and granddaughter Milana. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12th, 2020 at St Justin the Martyr Orthodox Church at 2:30 p.m.
