David Bryan Arlen, 59 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away unexpectedly on June 28th, 2020. Dave was the son of Jack and Carole (Ryan) Arlen of Galion, Ohio
Born December 15th, 1960 in Masawa, Japan at U.S. Air Force base.
Dave graduated Galion High School. Then joined the U.S. Army for 5 years. When he got out of the Army Dave brought his family back to Galion Ohio. When back in Ohio he went to Northcentral Technical College for a 4 year degree in X-ray. Then was trained and certified in MRI.
Dave then got a job in Michigan and in 1994 we all moved to Eaton Rapids,Michigan. He worked doing mobile MRI all over the state. He loved his job.
Around 2014 he lost his job and we moved to Daytona Beach Florida for 2 years. Dave then got a job in Jacksonville Florida. We bought a home and lived there for the rest of his life.
Dave enjoyed family,friends and life. He loved music of all kinds and loved going to concerts, he like photography, he was a beekeeper, and a member of the moose
He is survived by his wife Teresa Clever Arlen. They were married December 7th,1979. Their children Jenny and Josh Tice of Holt Michigan, Daniel Arlen and Jill Behnke of Eaton Rapids, Michigan,
6 grandchildren Hannah Tice, Aaron Tice, Jamie Arlen, August Arlen, Jasper Arlen and Coraline Arlen. His mother Carole Ryan Arlen. His brothers Steve (Vikki) Arlen, Doug Arlen. Brother in law Tim (Laura) Clever, sister in law Jody (Jeff) Stigall, brother in law Bo Poland. Several Aunts, Uncles, nephew's, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son Bryan Arlen, grandson Sullivan Arlen, his father Jack Arlen, father in law Harold Clever and mother in law Carolyn Clever. His sister in law Kim Lock Poland and sister in law Kelly Clever.
Dave wished to be cremated and didn't want a memorial service.
