Obituary of Parnell Hadsock

Parnell Hadsock, 86, of Jacksonville, Florida passed into Heaven Monday, August 10, 2020 A celebration of life Service will be held at 11am, Friday, September 11 at the Bosque Bello Cemetery. Words of love and affirmation will be given in honor of an amazing Father, Grandfather, Son and Friend. Parnell was born January 10, 1934 in Douglas, Georgia to Jessie and Stella Hadsock. He was a proud Marine who served his country in the Korean war. Upon returning to America, he joined the merchant marines where he spent 24 years until retiring. He then started his own successful paint business. He loved sharing his wisdom and experience from life with all. From humble beginnings, to serving his country, to spending time with his family. Parnell is survived by his 2 sons, Robert Hadsock and Mike LaVigne, daughter Nicholl Bernath. 3 grandchildren, Emily, Ryan and Jordan. 1 great grandchild Isabella. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine in 2003.
