Obituary of Gregory Matthew Kent

he son of Howell Ronald Kent and Jerrilyn Kent passed away on July 11, 2020 after a long battle with heart disease. He was 50 years old. Gregory Matthew Kent of Jacksonville, Florida, was born on December 28, 1969 in Lakeland, Florida, and was preceded in death by his parents Howell Ronald Kent and Jerrilyn Kent. He is survived by his three sisters Jackie Brennan, New York; Kimberly Kent, and Amy Betancourt both of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He enjoyed watching the Florida Gators play football and fishing with his Uncle David Kent of Bartow, Florida. The family held a small private memorial service at Oaklawn Cemetery at his parents gravesites, and plans on future memorial services at his grandparents Kent and Thompson cemeteries in Polk County, Florida. Gregory's cremation arrangements were in the care and guidance of Eternity Funeral Home and Crematory, 4856 Oakdale Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida, 32207.
