Paul Amato 56, of Jacksonville Fl, Passed away on September 26th 2020 peacefully at home in his sleep Paul was born on May 15th 1964 In Plainfield New Jersey to Parents Patsy Amato, and Marion Amato. Paul Graduated from Piscataway Vo tech High School in the year of 1982. Paul was also an upstanding Volunteer and active member of the Arbor Hose Fire Company and With the thanks and Guidance of Richard Campbell and Dick Prosuk Paul Became the Youngest Fire Chief of the state of New Jersey. In Paul’s Heart he will always be a fireman and Honor the true brotherhood. Paul Saved Many Lives and served side by side with Michael Campbell and looked up to his Mentor Fellow fireFighter Joe Henne. Paul was Also a lung Cancer Survivor thanks to The healing of Jesus and his Oncologist Thomas Davis with North Florida Oncology hematology who never gave up on Paul Amato and was able to give him an additional 11 Years of life with his family . Paul Is Survived by his Highschool sweetheart , Best friend and loving wife of 39 Years Cynthia J. Amato . Also survived by his Beautiful daughter, who Paul was so proud of and loved very much, Michele K. Neeld and her Loving Husband Eric B. Neeld who became Paul’s Best friend and also Blessed Paul with a Grandson, the twinkle in Pop Pops Eye Paul R. Neeld (Paulie). Paul’s Heart was Big enough to also love and Care for his step Grandchildren, Brianna Neeld and Eric Neeld Jr. Paul is Also Survived by His Brother in Law John Szabo , Deceased brother Joseph Amato, Sister Anita Kavanaugh & brother Patrick Amato . Paul was a very loving, caring and funny man and will be remembered in all of our hearts forever. For anyone who would like to pay their respects Paul Amato's Memorial service will be held on October 8th 2020 from 4.30 to 7.30pm at Eternity Funeral home Located at 4856 Oakdale Avenue, Jacksonville FL 32207
