Please share a memory of Susie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mange, Susie M.
October 28, 1941 – January 2, 2021
Sue (or Susie, Susie-Q, known by many), wanted to let everyone she knew and loved that her prescheduled appointment, new Home and new life began on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 8:22 a.m. and that she was elated to go with Jesus as He took her Home to be with the Lord.
Sue’s beliefs in God were very deep and her faith in God was larger than a field of more than a gazillion mustard seeds and she always shared her beliefs with anyone she came to know and did it with remarkable knowledge. God was indeed number one in her life.
Sue was nothing less than a “HOT MESS”; she was fierce, powerful, fiery, compassionate, loving and wiser beyond her years and she indeed passed these qualities to many, many people.
Sue faced many trials and toils throughout her life, of which many knew nothing of. However, that’s the way she wanted it. She didn’t ever want to be a burden to anyone, especially her family that she SO loved, deeply and loved unconditionally.
Prior to her parents passing, she with the aid of her brother and sister-in-law, moved her parents from Tallahassee to Jacksonville, FL to live with her so she could care for them in their final years. Being a caregiver to both parents and working at Sprint full-time was indeed challenging at times, but, it was what she desired to do and she did it well and with a very happy heart. Her father passed first and then a few years later her mother passed in her sleep at home. Sue felt very, very Blessed to have heard her mother take her final breathe and knew she was at Peace with her father.
Sue loved her family so unconditional, it was amazing…she was amazing! Her greatest love and accomplishment (as she always said) was when she gave birth to her only child, Sherry. She was an extremely dedicated mother and she and Sherry were way more than mother and daughter; the majority of their days together, they were best friends. When Sherry gave birth to her only child, a daughter, Taylor, WOW, the sparkles in Sue’s eyes were a sight to see!!! Where you saw one, you saw all three, Sue, Sherry and Taylor (The Three Amigos).
Sue was an avid FSU fan; she loved to sew and actually did some modeling in her earlier years in Tallahassee, where she grew up; she LOVED music (from Yanni to George Thorogood); she so loved to dance and her happy place was the beach!
Susie-Q is so happy in her new Home and life in Heaven and she requests that you be happy for her as well and she promises to be right there at the Pearly Gates to greet you when your tasks on earth are completed. In the meantime, she’s dancing on the Golden Streets of Heaven, Beautiful as ever and at Peace.
Sue was preceded in death by her best friend Renee (co-worker at Sprint), her father,
John Lynn, her sister, Bessie Ingram, her mother, Minnie Lynn and her former son-in-law, Jeffrey Lynn Bauer.
Sue will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Sue is survived by her only child,
Sherry Lynn, her precious and only grandchild, Taylor Lynn Bauer, her beloved
Grand-dog, Mi Tormenta; her brother, Joseph Lonnie Lynn and his loving wife and her sister-in-law, Marie Lynn; her nieces, Claudia, Paula, Holly Anne Lynn and Michelle Forest and her husband, Ken Forest; her nephews, David Ingram, Joseph Lonnie Lynn, Jr. and John Alfred Boatright and his adoring wife, Lois Boatright and many, many cousins including Annette Boatright. Sue’s extended family includes the following members: Jimmy and Mary Beth Mercier, Richard Propster, Rhonda Dunn, Clint McFarland and Mimi O’Connor, Jeffrey and Theresa Jackson and Charles Unartel.
Sue’s friends will miss her greatly as well and that list is long; however, you know who you are. Sue will be cremated at Eternity Funeral Home and her earthly ashes will remain with her immediate family.
Sue’s final request of all of her beloved family and friends is to remember her love for each and every one of you. Her love of life, laughter, dance, music, her love and belief in
Our Lord God (of whom makes all things possible); her strong will against any obstacle she came up against; which can easily be summed up in one word…FORTITUDE.
In lieu of flowers and the like, Sue requests that you go get a nice cold beverage of choice, turn on some music, close your eyes and imagine that you are dancing with her.
So, until your mission on earth is complete as well as hers has, she will be standing at the Pearly Gates waiting for you when you start your journey…in the meantime, remember these words, it’s a poem that her daughter, Sherry wrote:
Death leaves behind empty hearts and selfish tears; a sense of what now…
where to go from here… what to do.
Death opens up a brand new door of
nothing less than Pure and Unconditional Love.
Death leads us to Our Master, Our Maker, Our Lord God,
Our Father, Our Creator. God is Love, Life and Eternal Life.
Love and Life reward us with Memories that Death is not privy to.
Be Thankful and Rejoice in God and His Love as much as you are
thankful and Rejoice in Love, Life, Death and MEMORIES.
Sea Ya on the flipside…..XOXO Sue
