Obituary of Marilyn Marra Kilpatrick

Marilyn Marra Kilpatrick, 64, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Marilyn was born on August 15, 1956 at Moody Air Force Base Hospital in Valdosta, Georgia. She was employed by Ascension St. Vincent’s Consolidated Laboratory Services for 19 years. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, John A. Marra, Sr. and her mother Myrtle Johnson Marra. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her brothers John A. Marra, Jr. (Melissa) of Elkton, Fl and James A. Marra (Julie) of Jacksonville, Fl, son Joey Kilpatrick of Jacksonville, Fl; Daughter Christine Crace (Matthew) of Frankfort, Ohio; son John Kilpatrick of Jacksonville, Fl, and many nieces and nephews. Marilyn is also survived by her grandchildren which were the love of her life: Presley, Hailey, Destiny, John, Jack, and Colton. A memorial service will be held to honor Marilyn memory on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Five Points Chapel, 702 Margaret Street, Jacksonville, Fl 32204. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Due to COVID-19 and in adherence to the CDC mandate, all attendees are asked to please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Marilyn’s memory to Community Hospice Foundation, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fl, 32257.
