Ernestine Penny, known by those close to her as Tina, passed in the early morning hours of 3 May 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. Tina had come home from the hospital to spend her final days with family and friends and died peacefully in her sleep next to her husband of 68 years (Bud). She is survived by her devoted husband Bud; her children Billie Jean and Scott; grandchildren Jamie, Ashley, Katharine, Belinda, and Alexandra; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Juliana, Noah, Trey, Jackson, Beckett, and Baylor.
A memorial/celebration of life service will be held Saturday 8 May at 11:00 am at Englewood Baptist Church located at 5675 Kennerly Road, Jacksonville, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Food Bank, Englewood Baptist Church, PO Box 10959, Jacksonville, Florida 32247.
