Charles R. Helenbrook
March 16, 1939 – May 4, 2021
Charles (Chuck) Helenbrook, 82, passed away on May 4, 2021. He had retired to Amelia Island in 1997 and loved playing golf along with several golf “buddies”. Chuck was born in Buffalo, NY to parents Charles and Mary Helenbrook. He served in the US Marines then worked for United Airlines for 36 years as Regional Sales Manager, living in Washington DC, Chicago, Hawaii and Denver. Chuck loved to compete and was always up for a contest or bet of some sort with grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He welcomed friends and relatives to his home, and was a very gracious host. Chuck truly enjoyed life and had a great sense of humor. Chuck is survived by his wife Joanne and two sons, Mark and Jeffrey (Ingeborg), 6 grandchildren and three brothers: Ron, Craig and Dennis. .
