Obituary of Gilbert Ernest Nolan III

Gilbert Ernest “Ernie” Nolan III - October 21, 1933 to May 21, 2021 (age 87) passed away peacefully at the Community Hospice and Palliative Care Center on May 21, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Johnnie Nolan; his sister, Sandi Bowers; and his sons, Thomas Daniel Nolan, Robert Nolan, and John Richard Fraiser. The memorial service will be held at Harbour Shores Apostolic Church on May 30, 2021, at1:00pm following the regular Sunday service held at 11:00am and will be officiated by Rev. James Beale. The address for Harbour Shores is 86674 Pages Dairy Road, Yulee, FL, 32097.Ernie was born in Jacksonville, FL, on October 21, 1933. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Ernie was blissfully married to Johnnie for 43 years. He was a loving, caring person to all who knew him, and his many grandchildren called him “Papa E”. Ernie was a wonderful manager of people and owned several businesses. He was a true salesman at heart! He loved God, his church and his family but loved Johnnie most of all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Harbour Shores Apostolic Church or Community Hospice Jane and Bill Warner Center for Caring.
