Brad’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. Martin Bradley "Brad" Reents passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 48 after sustaining a massive stroke due to complications of the COVID virus. He was proceeded in his death by his father; Martin Randall Reents. He is survived by his children; Leigh-Anna Reents and Alexander Reents, mother, Barbara Reents, and a brother, Brian Reents. Brad was born on August 15, 1972. He grew up in Hopewell, Virginia and was a graduate of Hopewell High School class of 1989. Brad married his one and only true love he met in high school and had two incredible children with. Brad was living in Jacksonville, Florida at the time of his death and he lived out his latter half of life there. Aside from running his own business, he loved fishing, sunsets, and traveling. He had a big heart and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
As it turns out, I AM the guy who stole the safe from the Motor View Drive Inn back in 1988. I could have left that unsaid, but I wanted to get it off my chest. Also, I really am NOT a PhD. What happened was that day I went to pay off my college student loan at the U of U, the girl working there put my receipt into the wrong stack, and two weeks later, a PhD diploma came in the mail. I didn’t even graduate, I only had about 3 years of college credit. In fact, I never did even learn what the letters “PhD” even stood for. Brad this one is for you!
