Obituary of William Kirk Jr

William Elvin Kirk Jr., Willie, Passed away peacefully on August 30th, 2021. His visitation with friends and family will be held at Eternity funeral home in Jacksonville, Florida on Friday, September 10th, 2021. The Address is 4856 Oakdale Ave. The family asks that if you would like to honor him to wear something in relation to The Beatles or black during the viewing. William was born in Valdosta, Georgia to Nell B. Kirk and William E. Kirk Sr. William went through life striving to make everyone who he encountered very happy and loved. He later went on to be a regional manager at several restaurants, making positive impacts wherever he went. He loved collecting pop characters, spending time with his wife, daughters and son in laws, and watching sports and marvel movies. William is survived by his wife, Marita L. Kirk; Daughter Gabrielle Dragonetti and spouse Michael Dragonetti, Daughter Kaitlyn Kirk and Spouse Philip Hancock, and his wonderful service dog, Penny. He is also survived by brother Pete Kirk and wife Debbie Kirk, Brother Charles Vines, Sister Laura Thomas, and Sister and Brother in law Michelle Currie and Craig Currie. Willie leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well. He is Preceded in death by his Mother, Nell B. Kirk, Father William E. Kirk Sr. and brother David Kirk. In leu of Flowers, the family is asking for everyone to donate to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
