Obituary of Brian Lee Buck

Brian Lee Buck, formerly of Lacon Illinois, passed away January 6th, 2022 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville Florida. He was born in Peoria Illinois on March 20, 1963 to Marjorie E. Zilm. He was adopted by his maternal great uncle and aunt, Ralph and Georgia McCully Buck, as a newborn baby. Their teenaged son Charles Forrest became his brother. Brian was raised on the family farm outside of Lacon Illinois. He attended Mid-County Schools where he graduated high school. He was of the Methodist faith attending the Lacon Methodist Church in his youth. He married Julia Bass in 1983. To them was born his only child, Tasha Lea. On March 22, 2002 he married Lisa K. Stevens in Black River Falls Wisconsin. He was a welder by trade. In the 1980s, he was a police officer and first responder in Marshall County Illinois. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and country music. Surviving are his wife Lisa, daughter Tasha and his only grandchild Dawson all of Central Illinois. He was predeceased by his birth mother, his parents, his brother and his grandparents.
