Obituary of Alice Mildred Van Winkle

On January 19, 2022 at 8:30 pm it come with the most sadness that are dearest Alice Mildred VanWinkle passed away peacefully at the age 88 in orange park medical center emergency room. Alice was born on January 27,1933 in Owego ,New York to her parents Delmer & Julia Padgett . Her mother dies at a early age to breast cancer,her father later on passes away. She also had 5 brothers Delmer(Jr), Gilbert (Pj), Harold (Bum), William(Billy), Howard (Clem), and a little sister Iva. Later on Alice and Iva got adopted by George l & Irene Moore where she spent most her time on the farm in Nichols, New York before meeting the love of her life George C VanWinkle then married on February 10 ,1950 then move to Deruyter , New York. They had three beautiful children. After they where out of school move to Jacksonville, Fl to their home . Alice lost her husband in 2003 then her son in 2019 she was survived by one son George VanWinkle (Alanna) one daughter Julie Yourkvitch (Michael) five grandchildren Tonya Yourkvitch (Christopher) ,Chris VanWinkle (Tina), Jeff VanWinkle (Sarah) Lynette Garcia (Adrian), Terra Everhart (Nichalos) 16 great grandchildren De’Sean, Jackie, Zachary, Jayden, Taylor, hannah, Aj, Brandon, Eric, Anthony, Raygan, Leia, Anakin, Mara Jade, Aiden, and Shira Brie (pumpkin) a nephew Buzy Padgett (Linda). Alice loved her family more then anything in the world. Her favorite thing are flamingo, cardinals, robins, and love doing her word search puzzles. Alice will be truly missed by everyone she was a lovable person.
