Obituary of Dawn Joann Townsend

Dawn Joann Safford Townsend age 47, departed this earthly life on March 13, 2022. She was born May 6, 1974 in New Port Richey, Florida and has resided in Jacksonville, FL since 2001. Dawn was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her Mother, Eileen Falla; her two daughters, Presley Townsend and Kaylin Cotton; her Grandaughter, Emerie Clark; her older sisters Cristie Safford Oklevitch and Tammy Safford McDaniels; as well as her beloved nephews and nieces; Nick, Zack, Kenzie, Jaden and Macie. She cared deeply for those around her and when she loved, she loved fiercely. She went out of her way to help those in need and always listened without judging. She took pride in being a Mother and her newest role as a Grandmother. She found joy in boating, beach going and searching for sharks teeth. She enjoyed music and dancing and playing card games with her family. Her laughter was contagious and could light up any room. A sound that will forever be remembered by many. She will be greatly missed for her incredible sense of humor and concern for others. The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
