Obituary of Shirley Jane Pahl

Shirley Ace Pahl of Jacksonville, Fl went home to meet her Lord on May 19, 2022. She was born March 2, 1938 in Bowling Green, Oh to Arch H and Edith L nee Johnson Ace, both deceased. She was preceded in death by her brother Randy Ace and her longtime companion and love of her life, Jerald L Edwards of Jacksonville, Fl. She graduated from Bowling Green High School and attended Bowling Green State University and was a graduate of Chicago School of interior design. Shirley is survived by her son, Tim D. Pahl (Jennifer) of Columbus, Oh and brother Gary T. Ace (Luna) of Chapel Hill, NC. Shirley lives 21 years in Bowling Green, Oh and moved to Columbus, Oh where she lives for 30 years before moving to Jacksonville, Fl in 1990. She was blessed to be able to do all the things she wanted to do being a retail buyer, interior designer, owner of a clothing store, modeling and in movies as well as being on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross and a member of the Disaster Reaction Team traveling all over to help including Puerto Rico. Using her gift of helping others, she particularly enjoyed her last job with the State of Florida's Office of the Attorney General Vietnam Compensation Clinic. There will be no services and according to her wishes, will have her ashes places at sea. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Jacksonville American Red Cross or the City Rescue Mission.. Services being handled by Eternity Funeral Home & Crematory of Jacksonville.
