Sheryl Ann (Lefort) Schuster 65 died June 25, 2022 in Jacksonville FL surrounded by her family.
Sheryl was born October 11, 1956 to Albert Leo and Darlene(Embree) Lefort in Garden City. She graduated from GCHS in 1974, then enlisted in the US Army serving from 74 to 77.
Sheryl is survived by her daughters Kathryn(John) Hunter of Jacksonville FL and Molly(Rian) Shaw of Elk City KS. Two sisters Laurie(Sam) Henderhan of Grand Junction CO and Suzanne Phipps of Garden City, a brother Michael Lefort(Jenifer) of Overland Park, 4 grandchildren Andrew, Kermit, Elizabeth Hunter and Cole Schweikardt, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Barbara Jackson and Mary Lefort.
A memorial service will be held July 9, 2022, 2pm at Lee Richardson Zoo shelter #2. Burial will take place in the Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Finney County Animal shelter.
