Janis Perkins Amerson 82 BORN IN Jenkins KY. Mom peacefully passed away July 20 2022 after a short illness. Mom was born September 16, 1939 to Quiller and Ruby Perkins. They lived in Pound Virginia. Mom worked and retired from Maxwell House Coffee in Downton Jacksonville. FL. Mom was in charge of roasting the coffee beans. Mom filled the air in downtown with the aroma of Coffee, mom loved what she did for a living. Mom had 4 children Kenneth (deceased) Vickie, Angela (deceased) and Jason. Also 5 Grandchildren, Jason, Shane, Cheney Cody (deceased) and Katy, 8 great grandchildren. Mom had 14 siblings, Charles (deceased) Ezra (deceased) Madonna (deceased) Bruce (deceased) Juanita (deceased) Johnny Ray, Helen, Roy Neal, Ronald, Debra, Edward, Andy, Kelly and Lucille. Mom was a longtime member of Evangel Temple, under Pastor Gary Wiggins mom was a member of the Red Hat club. A memorial Service will be held At Eternity Funeral Home ON 7-27-22 at 1:00 pm.
