Obituary of Sally Rivers Alston

Sally Ann Rivers Alston, 74, of Jacksonville, FL passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on October 23, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at Riverside Park United Methodist Church Chapel on November 5 at 2 PM with the Rev. Emily Knight officiating. Sally was born in Jacksonville on January 21, 1948 to Clarence and Sara Rivers. She graduated from Lee High School in 1965 and attended Andrew College before marrying and starting a family. Sally was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed her church activities, reading, and various hobbies. She is survived by her children George IV (Melissa), Amy (Lee), Jennifer (James), and Ashley (Will); 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; her brother Robert Rivers (Natale); and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial donations may be made to Riverside Park United Methodist Church or the charity of choice.
