Obituary of Gerald Owen Grimm

GERALD OWEN GRIMM July 26, 1941 – November 5, 2022 Gerald “Jerry” Grimm passed away under hospice care in Jacksonville, FL, on November 5, 2022, at the age of 81. He leaves behind his two children, Andrew Christopher Grimm of Southaven, MS, and Heidi Jennifer Cleary of Missouri City, TX, their four children, Andrew Charles Grimm, Daniel Jonathan Grimm, Jane Caitlin Cleary and Breneman Tevis Cleary, and his brothers, James and Russell Grimm of Florida. Andrew’s daughter Marisa Katelyn Grimm pre-deceased Gerald. A graduate of Wilson Borough Area High School in Easton, PA, Jerry served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine crewman in the early 1960’s. Following his military service, he enjoyed long and fulfilling careers, first with Xerox Corporation as a technical representative and later as a pilot with US Airways. He lived many happy years in Yardley, PA and then he ‘retired’ to the Jacksonville, Fl area. He enjoyed reading, electronics, streaming old shows and discussing politics. He will be interred in the National Cemetery in Jacksonville. Arrangements for services are pending.
