Tim and I met Bill and Bonnie through our daughter Stephanie's marriage to Bill's son Ben. We were joined as in-laws but became friends. We looked forward to catching up over breakfast or dinner whenever Tim and I came to Florida or whenever Bill and Bonnie came to Georgia. I will forever treasure a recent visit this past summer at the lake when Bill was driving the boat (really fast) and just enjoying being on the water. Bill was a gentle soul and a wonderful grandfather to Samantha. He was always there for our daughter and granddaughter.
Bill, we love you and will miss you dearly, but you will be forever in our hearts.

William Burchett posted a condolence

Ever since Bill and Bonnie moved to Florida, Bill was very attentive to my husband, Bill Burchett, and took us to breakfast at times and called frequently to check on us. Since Bill Burchett now has Parkinson Disease, Bill C. called often to see if there was a need. His help materially, emotionally and spiritually has been such a blessing. We praise God for the faith that he lived and for his trust in the Lord in all things.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the entire Castleberry family. Bill will be missed by so many.
Family -
I first met Bill in 1999 when he and Bonnie came from NY to find a place to live. They were moving here to Florida for the job we worked together at for many years. We all became more like family, at Endeka, than coworkers. Bill was not shy about letting us all know he thought of us as family. He often called me kiddo and I was not mad about that.
Kind -
A kind soul, this is what comes to mind when I think of Bill. He never seemed to be mad with anyone. If he disagreed with you or disliked something you had done, he never dwelled on it or held a grudge. He simply moved on. He always asked how my kids/family were and about what was going on in my life. He & Bonnie attended many of my family/personal life events. It always meant the world to me that he was there.
Supportive/Encouraging -
Bill had a knack of convincing you that you can do whatever you put your mind to. He would also be there, on your side and cheering you on along the way. I always felt as though Bill was on my side, in my corner and there if I needed a helping hand.
Bill, I will forever miss your kindness, your supportive & encouraging nature and knowing you & I were “chosen” family.
The world was a much better place with you in it.
Love you friend.
Rest easy 115!
(He’ll know what that means)
