Carter Chandler, 74, died at home on Sunday, January 1, 2023, in Yulee, FL. He was born on November 10, 1948, in Atlanta, GA to Leonard Chandler & Essie (French) Clark. Carter retired from the USPS in Atlanta after many years of service as a mechanic in 2012. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margene Montgomery Chandler of Yulee, and his children: Mandy Suggs of Yulee; Craig & Leigh Chandler of Yulee; grandchildren: Tristan Chandler, Ashley Chandler, Kaden Suggs, and Trace Chandler; sister Phyllis Shepek of KS; brothers Bryan & Susan Chandler of Jersey, GA; and Tim & Melanie Chandler of Jackson, GA. The family will receive friends January 28th from 2pm – 5pm for a Celebration of Life at 1881 Occasions in Hilliard, FL.
