Anita Irons was born on June 17, 1960 in Jacksonville, Florida to Horace and Ora Lee Horton. Anita passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the young age of 62.
She is survived by her children, Victoria Norman and her husband James of Houston, Texas, and Zachary Irons; 2 grandchildren, Payton and Piper; brothers Roger (Barbara), Richard (Myong-Hui), Ronnie (Julie), Roy (Linda), and Ralph and sisters Mary Ann (Jack), Shirley, Helen, Jenny, Linda, and Wanda; numerous nieces and nephews. Anita is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Ora Lee and big brother Bob.
Anita wished for a celebration of life instead of a traditional funeral, which will be held on February 4, 2023. In lieu of flowers, she would have loved for donations to be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in hopes that they one day find a cure. Donations can be made at
