Obituary of Angela Mary McCloskey

On March 15th, 2023, Angela (Angie) Mary McCloskey, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at the age of 69. Angie was born in Fargo, North Dakota and always had a passion for traveling and seeing the world. Shortly after graduating high school, Angela became an international flight attendant, serving 47 years before retiring in 2019. Amongst her travels, her favorite places to visit were Japan and London, England. Angie is survived by her two children, Lillian Anne McCloskey and Jonathan Caleb McCloskey and her brothers, Christofer "Kit" Denis and Stewart Denis. She is preceded in death by her brother Jay Denis, her sister Marcie Angstman, and her parents, James and Virginia. Besides traveling, Angela was a devoted mother and friend and would do anything for her children. Her children and legacy are Lilly and Jonathan who love their mom more than anything and want her to know she was the best mom in the world! Angela’s graveside service will be held Saturday, April 8th, 3pm, at Bosque Bello Cemetery, 1321 North 14th St., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. The grave location is in the Southeast corner of the cemetery (Block 28, Lot# 72). The service will be followed by a celebration of life with refreshments at Angela’s residence (1505 Broome St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034).
