Obituary of Christine Napolitano

On the afternoon of March 30, 2023, Christine Marie Napolitano, 76, of Saint Marys GA, formerly of Somersworth NH, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice of Fernandina Beach, FL with her daughter Susan by her side. God saw her getting tired and called Christine to her final rest after a period of failing health. Christine was born December 25, 1946 in Somerville, MA to Myron and Anita (O’Brien) Roy. She was a graduate of Somerville High School and in 1995 went on to earn her Associates Degree in Business Accounting from McIntosh College in Dover NH. She worked as a Liberty Mutual Claims Representative for 27 years until she retired. She, along with her husband Frank, was very passionate and committed to supporting the Special Olympics Swim Meets in Dover NH for many years. They were members of good standing of the Elks, both the Dover Lodge #184 in New Hampshire and Camden County Lodge #2820 in Kingsland, GA. She loved family, animals and people. Her loving and caring spirit was shared with everyone, taking care of stray cats and making friends everywhere she went. She will be dearly missed. Memories of Christine, lovingly known as Grammy, will be dearly cherished by her daughter Susan Hardison and her husband Lee of Saint Marys, GA; granddaughter, Victoria Werner and her husband Trenton of Saint Marys, GA; daughter Jean Dugger and her husband Matt of Middleton Corners, NH; brother Stephen Roy of Chelsea, MA; sister Susan Stewart and her husband Jerry of Edgewater, FL; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Napolitano; her parents Myron & Anita Roy; and her brother Myron Roy Jr The family wishes to extend their immense gratitude to the caring staff at Community Hospice, Fernandina Beach, FL. Christine requested there be no services planned at this time. Burial, with her loving husband Frank, will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover, NH.
