Obituary of William Barbaree

William "Billy" Barbaree, 58, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on March 28, 2023 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born June 24, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina. His passion in life was landscaping, and that is what he spent his life doing. He was a co-owner of TreeScapes By Us along with his brother, Joe Barbaree, and family friend Bernie Pieklo. He was married to Deborah (Debbi) Parrish from August 22 1987 to July 6, 2001. He is survived by his daughters Amy Barbaree and Lori (Little John) Roling, and son John (Michelle) Parrish. He had 8 grandchildren Isabella, Gabriella, Cheyenne, Shelby, Shaylee, Bubba, Brook, and Briley. His siblings Myra (Rusty) Gladden, Joseph (Kim) Barbaree, and Vickie (Jimmy) Welch. His nieces and nephews Myra Lynne (Jeremy) Wilkinson, Clark (Connie) Gladden, Heather (Anthony) Locklear, Kori Barbaree, Brett Rogers, Trey Rogers, Katlin (Evan) Maynor, Courtney (John) McCarty, and Cody Welch. He also was survived by many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruby Barbaree, his maternal grandmother Margaret "Mamie" Faulkner, Linda Odom (girlfriend) , ex mother in law Mary Mauldin, ex father in law John Mauldin, and his niece and nephew Holly and Josh Ulsch. He was also preceded in death by family friend Bernie Pieklo. The family had a celebration of life on April 3, 2023 at the VFW Post 7909. There will be a graveside service at Jacksonville Memory Gardens to be announced at a later date and time. Please continue to send prayers for the family.
