Obituary of Marcella Morrison

Marcella grew up in Philadelphia,PA. She attended Little Flower High School. Marcella married Thomas J Morrison on February 16, 1957. They were married 54 years until Thomas death in 2011. Marcella was the mother of eight children; Marcella, Thomas, James, Susan, Andrew, Dolores, Jeffery, and Daniel which she raised in Philadelphia, PA. where she lived most of her life. Marcella and Thomas did live in Wildwood, NJ for a few years before returning to Philadelphia. They made the move to Venice, Fl and were quickly introduced to hurricane season. Marcella moved to Yulee, Fl in 2022. Marcella worked at several jobs in her lifetime to include Frankford Hospital admissions office and Temple University’s financial aid office of the Dental School. Marcella had several hobbies at one time or another. She enjoyed sewing clothes for her children as well as making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for neighborhood children. She raised angel fish, seahorses, and parakeets at various times (not at the same time). She also enjoyed playing the violin in high school; writing and playing the piano as an adult. She loved dancing with her husband. Marcella is survived by: Marcella Morrison; James and Eileen Morrison; Susan and Jim Leary; Andrew Morrison and wife Jennifer Misko; Dolores Morrison; Jeffrey and Young Morrison; Daniel and Lisa Morrison; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
