Father Agiustinus Seran will be officiating. Interment will be in Rose Cemetery, Tarpon Springs, Florida. Kirkwood L. Hannah I was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida to the late Elois (Brooks) Hannah and Nathaniel Hannah, Sr. on March 1, 1956. Kirkwood attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School, Tampa Catholic High School, Hillsborough Community College, Florida Southern University and Southern University in New Orleans. He spent many years living in New Orleans, Daytona Beach and Houston, Texas. His spiritual home was at St. Peter Claver Church where he served as an altar boy. He and his brother Nate were the altar servers at the first mass ever held at the newly built church. He was very active in church life, serving at many masses during his growing years. Kirkwood was a highly intellectual individual, skipping 2 grades and still maintaining excellent marks. Although he attended college for engineering, he ultimately became an advertising executive who worked in the family business, The Dollar Stretcher. He continued in the sales field, selling cars, radio and print ads, and digital marketing. For many years he owned his own newspapers in two different cities, Daytona and Orlando, where he was highly successful. At the time of his passing, he was currently working at Cox Media in the field that he loved. He loved motorcycles, music of any genre and going to sporting events and concerts. In his later years, he reignited his spiritual fire and became mentor and Yoda to many people, especially his siblings. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elois Clarice Hannah; father, Nathaniel Glenn Hannah, Sr.; sisters, Sabrina Hannah Barnes, Carmen Harrison, and Natanya Matos; Aunts, Gloria Gadson, Mary Ann Davis, Ruby Brooks; Uncles, “Pa” Brooks, Clarence Davis, Sr., George Hannah and William Hannah, niece Natalie Hannah; nephew, Christopher Hannah.
