My Dad,
What a wonderful father. He was as they say, a man of very few words. But his words carried weight. I have so many sayings in my head that I attribute to my Dad. I will forever treasure those sayings and use them often in remembrance of the father I loved dearly. He will be missed by so many, but I feel I may miss him most. I am not sure why I say that, but that is how I feel. I grew closer to him each year as he declined later in life. Gee, he lived to be 96! My last memory of him was sitting in his favorite chair, 2 glasses of champagne in front of him, a chocolate cake an Easter lily and a Happy Birthday balloon in front of him. And there he was with that signature smile of his, such a beautiful smile. What a great, great man. I know you are in Heaven Dad, smiling down on us all. Wait for me, I’ll see you again when God calls me up,

My heart breaks for you Judy & your family. Your sweetie was such a sweet man & I loved him so much as I do you! I have so many wonderful memories of the two of you. I use to love to pat his head & say hi & give him a great big hug & his smile could light up a room.
I’ll never forget a home health nurse arriving at my house after I had surgery & low & behold she was your daughter in law! What were the odds!! I was so surprised & excited to see her after so many years!
I was blessed to get to know you Judy & your sweetie & family over the years, and to be able to call you my dear friends! I will always keep those special memories close to my heart ❤️

Les was a wonderful Father-in-law to me. I have many happy memories of holidays, family dinners, playing card games and of course, Dominoes. A quiet and fun loving man, I will miss him greatly.
