Larry and I are so sorry to learn about Terry’s passing. We loved Betty, his mom, a dear friend from St. John UMC who “adopted” our baby boy Rob, who is now 19. I just ran across a book that she gave Rob. It warmed my heart when I saw Rob’s name written in her signature. Betty invited us over for dinner and brought out some really cool Matchbox sets that belonged to Terry & perhaps Tom also. She also served some fancy chocolates. She had to call us after to let us know that Rob had eaten many more chocolates than she or we had known. Of course, she didn’t want to tell on Rob and was concerned that he could get sick. We laughed at that tonight and Rob said to this day, he still can’t eat chocolate. We know Terry through his visits back to Atlanta and faithfully coming to church with his Mom. He was a devoted son and was always so nice and kind and we always enjoyed talking to him. I’ll always remember his fantastic smile, his dress whites and his service. He is a bright light taken from us too soon. I feel certain there is a joyous reunion in heaven between Terry and his parents. Maureen & Tom and all of your family, we are so sorry for your loss.

Terry was a great neighbor and friend. He loved his dog Cooper. He recently took Cooper to visit a friend at an assisted living facility. Terry was so proud of Cooper that day and couldn't wait to take him back to visit all the residents.
