Obituary of Thomas Baker Smith Sr.

Thomas Baker Smith, Sr., 86, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away on July 29th, 2023 in Jacksonville, Florida. Tom was born in Clyde, Ohio to George and Catherine Smith on February 19th, 1937. He went to high school at Clyde High School and graduated in 1955. He joined the Air Force upon graduation and served 4 years active duty: 3 years in Japan and one year in Presque Isle Maine. He worked as a Sales Manager for Moores Business Forms for 28 years. He enjoyed playing golf. He received multiple sales awards and was involved in their local HOA organization and earned his 10-year service pin at Universal Studios while residing in Davenport, Florida. Tom is survived by his wife, Pierrette Marie (Lebel) of Siegas, NB, Canada. Children, Thomas B. Smith, Jr. (Stephanie), Marie Campbell (Lamar), four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister, children Kieth Anthony Smith, Shelley (Smith) VanderLey, and nephew Colby VanderLey. Eternity Funeral Home of Jacksonville will be handling the cremation arrangements. Please leave your memories and photographs of Tom in the Tribute Book that they may be enjoyed by the Family.
