Maureen’s was a woman who enjoyed conversation and learning. She had a spirit of family and she loved everyone, including her husband Bob. She was a faithful wife, wonderful cook, and a generous sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. When my mom was dying she opened her heart and home to me, my children and grandchildren so they could be with my mom at the end of her life. We lived far from each other most of our lives, but when we did meet- we were family. I will miss her presence, but I will forever be thankful for the person she was in my brothers life, the love she shared, and the family she united with mine when they married. When people die- the memories that are left behind are what matter. I pray she finds peace on the other side. I pray she can see perfectly, her vision restored. I pray she can run with her dogs again, her legs strong. I pray her demons are destroyed by God’s grace and she is enjoying a big family feast of Italian foods with fresh made pierogies thrown in for fun with all those that have past before us. Sleep easy Sister…. We will carry on until we meet again. We love you.
