Charles was my little brother. A shy sort, he liked to do things alone.
After high school he joined the Navy. He was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan on board a WWII vintage LST.
Charlie had artistic talents and painted some and played guitar. While my ship was visiting Yokosuka he came over and played his guitar and sang, "If you Come to San Francisco".
He made some bad choices and spent the later part of his life in shame. For this I am sad as he never realized his full potential. During this period we were estranged. I miss the good memories.
Go with God my little brother. I forgive you, love you and will never forget you.
