Dear Scates Family,
I had the honor of working with Bud at AT&T back in the 70’s. He was such a wonderful, kind hearted, yet stern Godly man. I’ll never forget the time he prayed with me in his office and I re-committed myself to the Lord. In fact, he gave me my first bible on 2-27-1977 which I read daily.
I am so sorry for the sadness and emptiness you have now because of his absence; but, I can rejoice with you on the promises of God to be reunited with loved ones when we reach our heavenly home. May God bless you with the strength, the comfort and the peace that can only come from Him.

Scates Family-
We are deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Buds passing. We know how close your whole family is and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
We enjoyed the years we were able to spend with your family every weekend at the Gator Games, and will forever hold those memories in our hearts. Thank you for including us into your family and for some of the best moments in football along with us! He will be at rest with all the Gator greats who have gone before him!

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Mr. Clarence passing. Loosing a loved one is such a heart breaking event. As someone who recently lost a parent I find much comfort in John 5:28,29, where God promised to reunite us with our dear loved ones in a near future. May this scripture and the God of all comfort help your family to endure. My thoughts are with your family.
