Mark Peter Erbes, 54, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on December 17, 2020 in his Jacksonville home.
Along with his parents, Angelika and Konrad Erbes, and his older brother, Robert, Mark lived in New Hyde Park, New York until the family moved to Chesterfield, Virginia in 1995. A few years later, he joined his brother in Jacksonville. Mark graduated from New Hyde Park Memorial High School in 1984. He worked as an assistant in car dealerships and service centers in New York and Virginia. Mark enjoyed journaling, writing poetry, daily walks and chats with neighbors, and caring for animals.
Mark is survived by his uncles, Peter Hoegel of Las Vegas, and Heinrich (Henry) Erbes of Hedgesville, West Virginia, as well as his aunt, Elisabeth (Liesl) Sachs of Bayreuth, Germany. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, as well as his aunt and uncle, Theresa and Jacob Eng.
