Obituary of Bennie Vieten

Ben Vieten was born on September 5, 1958 and passed way on Monday Morning, June 1, 2021. Ben Vieten was born in Miami, FL on September 5, 1958 and passed away on June 1, 2021 at St Vincent in Jacksonville, FL, at the age of 62. Ben was the son of the late Bryce R Vieten and Bernice M Vieten. He is survived by his sister, Connie Vieten Par-Due of Hebron, KY. (Other siblings, also passed away are James W Vieten, Judith Kay Sebolt, and Bryce R Vieten, Jr.) He is also survived by James wife, Lois Vieten and Bryce Jr’s wife, Patricia Vieten. He is also has many nieces and nephews and cousins. We are thankful for the help and close friendship of Ben’s neighbor, Patricia Dekle. She has been a Godsend and has been like a sister to Ben. We are thankful to the Lord for providing such a special person to be there for him. Ben was a car mechanic by trade. Ben was a great photographer. He loved fishing, motorcycles, has done dirt bike racing in his teens., and was a member of the NRA. He also loved to cook and come up with his own BBQ recipes, etc. During COVID-19 he found a pastor online who taught the Bible verse by verse. This renewed a new time of studying and learning the Bible, sharing that he was learning so much!
